ANTE NATAL AND POST NATAL CLASSES

Are you wanting to stay toned during your pregnancy, learn techniques to help with the breathing during labour, allocate precious time for yourself and your baby or get back into shape post the childbirth experience? Then our GO Yoga Ante Natal & Post Natal Yoga & Pilates classes are just what you are looking for!!

The Ante Natal classes aim to boost your mind and support your body, helping to make your pregnancy a comfortable and pleasurable experience enabling you with birth and the post-delivery stages whilst the Post Natal classes help you to regain the muscle tone and strength post delivery.

Yoga is the perfect preparation for labour and the joys that lie ahead. It is hugely beneficial during pregnancy as both a physical and emotional support to help you integrate the different changes that this time brings. The course offers a unique opportunity to connect with your baby and a time for you to tune in to your own personal needs.

Practicing Ante Natal yoga and Pilates will create a more flexible body, which will enable you to adapt to various positions in labour. Practicing during this time will also help you to return to your natural shape much quicker and easier after the birth!”

During the classes you will be taught a series of specifically designed postures suitable at this time to open the body and increase flexibility, how to relieve aches and pains, to boost circulation and also help with fluid retention. Your posture will improve as you adjust to the changing shape of your body and through increased body and breath awareness you will ease back issues, which are common in pregnancy. The class also aims to eliminate any tension or stress that you may be experiencing and promote a deep sense of relaxation and greater wellbeing.

I was delighted that she could come to my home and was flexible enough to  encourage a few other recruits to join to make it more affordable for us. Any teachers working with Amanda are equally trained and passionate about their practice and teaching. All are at ease working with groups, individuals

or individual needs within groups and are adept and more than happy to work with injury and special needs. Our teachers pursue a personal daily practice and seek out ongoing regular training as in keeping with the traditional Ashtanga Yoga lineage and the teachings of Joseph Pilates.
