All our children’s yoga teachers are fully qualified (Yoga
Bugs & Yoga’d Up trained), insured and Criminal Records
Bureau checked.
At a time when their bodies are growing and changing, yoga gives
children of the pre-pubescent age group, energy & strength and
helps them to deal with situations which can make them angry and
frustrated.
As an emotion children feel anger very strongly and for them, yoga
can be especially helpful. Certain postures can help them to deal
with angry outbursts and rather than repressing their feelings,
they can let them out in a controlled manner.working
with groups,Yoga helps imprdren’s flexibility which significantly
changes from 7-8 years of age.
Boys tend to benefit because their muscles get stronger and
through yoga remain more flexible and this in turn helps them in
other sporting activities. Girls see the benefits of doing yoga
as it can help to strengthen their upper bodies as well as helping
them through some of the discomfort surrounding menstruation.
Yoga also helps children to concentrate for longer through postures
that focus their mind and their attention. In addition children
tend to get a better night’s sleep as they are more relaxed
and calm.
Children often find that yoga practice is helpful in fostering some
of the habits of mind that help develop students as optimal learners.

'Amanda Johnston’s GO Yoga is a gem of a place. I feel blessed
to have discovered it and Amanda herself. She is the real thing,
dedicated, inspirational and brilliant. There is more because
GO Yoga in addition to Amanda has a great line up of teachers many of
whom I have had the fortune to practice with. I am a true fan!'
