NATALIE : PROFILE

Having first practised yoga with her mother as a child, and continued her practice throughout young adulthood, Natalie has undertaken serious study of yoga over the last five years.

During this time, she has practised many different styles including Iyengar, Sivananda, Bikram, Anusara, Shadow, and Ashtanga. These have all had a powerful effect on her development, uniquely contributing to her knowledge and experience.

After deciding that teaching yoga was her calling in life, she undertook a ten-month apprenticeship training in Shadow / hatha yoga with William Robertson at the West London Yogashala. She then trained intensively at Its Yoga, California and was certified to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. She also has extensive training in anatomy and physiology.

Her main teachers are currently Micheala Clarke and Mark Ansari who she practices Mysore (self-practice) style with five days a week. She also assists in these classes when numbers are larger.

She regularly undertakes workshops with Edward Clark (Tripsicore).

She also recently attended Ashtanga workshops with Guruji, Shri K Pattabhi Jois (father of Ashtanga Yoga) on his London 2005 Tour.
