Your teacher for this class, Sanjai, began his meditational journey 17 years ago integrating his professional background with his spirituality in order to find balance. This lead Sanjai to change the direction of his career so that he was able to focus more fully on meditation and yoga and it is this knowledge and experience that Sanjai now shares with those who practice with him at Go-Yoga!
Sanjai’s aim as a teacher is to give his students an opportunity to experience feelings, awareness, stillness, and from these, higher emotional states such as unconditional love, joy and peace.
Sanjai’s focus is to make the ancient texts come alive. Enthralled by the energy concepts of chakras, the soul, the mind, the ego he used his body to try to experience these different planes of existence. He has studied various types of massage, is a reiki master and uses other healing methods. He has also studied a form of martial art called kalaripayyat which originates from Kerala and is a spiritual counsellor. He has tried various systems of meditation and what he now teaches is something quite unique, because in the course of teaching others, he has had to refine the methods to simplify them, and make them experiential even to the complete sceptic.
There is no adherence to any religious basis within what he teaches and with the Meditation skills taught one will learn how to:
- Overcome limiting beliefs that we all carry
- Empower his/her mind allowing him/her to become more focussed
- Create a vacuum to allow for creative thoughts/ideas
- Help manifest things in his/her life that are important to him/her
